1. Information We Collect

• Account data: Name, email, organization name, role.
• Questionnaire responses: Answers provided during diagnostics, including AI-assisted conversation history.
• Extracted insights: Structured data derived from responses (tools, pain points, workarounds, etc.).
• Usage data: Pages visited, session duration, diagnostic completion status.

2. How We Use Your Data

• Operate and improve the Kernail platform.
• Generate diagnostic reports and cross-reference analyses for your organization.
• Create anonymized, aggregated industry patterns (no PII included).
• Communicate with you about your account and diagnostics.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. Questionnaire responses are shared only within your organization's diagnostic session (visible to the organization owner and administrators). Anonymized patterns may be included in industry benchmarks — these contain no organization names, stakeholder names, or identifiable information.

4. AI Processing

Your questionnaire responses are processed by AI models (Anthropic Claude) to provide conversational deepening and insight extraction. Responses sent to AI providers are not used to train their models. We retain conversation history to enable session resumption and cross-reference analysis.

5. Data Retention

Diagnostic data is retained for the lifetime of your organization's account. You may request deletion of your organization's data by contacting us. Anonymized aggregate patterns are retained indefinitely.

6. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), hashed invite tokens (SHA-256), and row-level security policies on all database tables. Authentication tokens are stored in httpOnly cookies.
